Privacy Policy – Hosts and Supporters This privacy policy explains how Wiveliscombe Welcomes Refugees uses the personal data we collect from you when you use our website or Facebook page or email us. What data do we collect? We collect the following data: Personal identification information: name and email addresses, phone numbers, postcodes. For hosts: details about their homes, such as the number of bedrooms available for refugees to use.
How do we collect your data? You directly provide us with the data we collect when you give your consent We collect data and process data when you use our contact forms, or give us permission via email and facebook. How will we use your data? For hosts we collect your data so that we can identify how many host homes for refugees are available in the area and the type of accommodation available in order to contact you to suggest any links with refugees that we may become aware of. Also, with your permission, to provide links and signposting to support, both from the local community, more specialist help, and also including, if you wish, contact with other hosts when you have received your guests or during the application process. We also use non-identifiable data on numbers and type of local accommodation on offer in newsletters to communicate with refugee and other front line organisations who are in touch with waiting refugees and interested stakeholders, e.g. schools and health providers. For supporters we collect information about all kinds of help that can be offered, e.g. lifts to work places or conversational English practice. We also collect information about items that you are prepared to give or loan for the support of refugees. How do we store your data? We securely store your data in a Google Drive folder to which only selected members of the WWG Steering group have access. Please see this website 'About Us' page for a list of Steering Group members. We will never sell or give away your data.

Privacy Notice for Hosts ('sponsors') by Somerset County Council Somerset County Council will receive, from the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, details of Somerset residents who have applied to become a sponsor through the Homes for Ukraine scheme.
